High blood pressure is a quite common problem. In last 2-3 decades there has been a significant increase in the number of people suffering from this condition in India. As per many reliable research conclusions, 10 – 15% of adults have high blood pressure.

Previously we used to believe that hypertension affects only aged people. But now with altered lifestyle of 21st century, changed food habits and constant stress, more and more young people (especially from urban areas) are getting high blood pressure.
